Hofmann, Frances (Marriage - 1 Sept. 1952) 
 

A double-ring ceremony at 9:00 o’clock Monday morning in St. John’s Catholic church, Marshfield, united in marriage, Miss Frances Hofmann, daughter of Mrs. Marie Hofmann, of Marshfield, and Francis Kadonsky, son of J. F. Kadonsky, Abbotsford. The Rev. Eugene Comisky officiated at the Nuptial High Mass. 
 

The bride, escorted to the altar by her brother, Joseph Hofmann, was attired in a gown of floor length white satin, designed with a nylon sheer yoke and Alencon type lace ruffles extending down the front of the bouffant skirt and trimming the long, tapering sleeves.  A finger tip veil of sheer, imported illusion net bordered with lace fell from a bonnet shaped headpiece with fluting of net and clusters of orange blossoms. She carried a white orchid on a bride’s prayer book, with tiny roses and carnations tied to white streamers. 
 

Mrs. Raymond Kadonsky, Abbotsford, the groom’s sister-in-law, was matron of honor and Mrs. LaVerne Immerfall, sister of the bride, was bridesmaid. The attendants wore strapless gowns of orchid and maize, respectively, designed with tight fitting satin bodices with lace trim and double net over satin full skirts. Net capes with matching lace and helmet style hats of net and lace completed their ensembles. Each carried a Colonial bouquet of gladioli, the color of her gown.  
 

Raymond Kadonsky, brother of the groom, served as best man and LaVerne Immerfall, brother-in-law of the bride, was groomsman. 
 

Anthony Sara, Milwaukee, brother-in-law of the groom, and Elton Schmoll, Marshfield, brother-in-law of the bride, were ushers.  
 

The mother of the bride wore a lavender dress with matching hat and wore a corsage of white carnations.  
 

A dinner was served at noon in the Eagles hall, followed by a reception. 
 

After returning from their honeymoon trip, the couple will reside at 803 West Fifth Street, in Marshfield. 
 

The bride, a graduate of the Marshfield senior high school, is employed as a secretary at the Northern Auto Supply Company. The groom, a graduate of Abbotsford high school, is employed by Louis Trossen & Company, as a mechanic. 
 

Out of town guests were from Abbotsford, Dorchester, Owen, Loyal, Milwaukee, and Nekoosa.
